There are times I sit back and think, “I really, really, really love this job.” Last Saturday as I helped host “In the Kitchen with Jan D’ Atri” was one of them.
Jan asked me to help coordinate a show on Southern cooking and cuisine. I reached out to a couple of my favorites: Urban Tea Loft in Chandler and LoLo’s Chicken and Waffles. Jan asked her friend Kathy Rice from the Health, Wealth Raffle to participate.
The result? Two of the MOST fun hours on radio I’ve ever had. It’s chicken, it’s waffles…it’s AMAZING gumbo and blackend cat fish. Be jealous of the food I got to eat on this show. It was insanely good. Thanks Jan for entrusting me with your show again! I appreciate it!
