I had the distinct privilege of meeting Michael McNamara, food photographer for the Arizona Republic, over a year ago when he took some photos of my ordinary bruschetta for the paper and made them not only edible, but extraordinary.
I knew then the adorkable photog had an amazing gift. McNamara and his beautiful wife Jill are teaming up on a project unlike any I’ve heard of.
These friends are creating “Family Heirloom Cookbooks” which will be personalized recipe books for all of your family recipes. The coolest part? They will professionally photograph and lay out the cookbook for you!
The photo at the top of this article is a great example of McNamara’s talents. You can also catch his work in AZ Magazine and the Arizona Republic in the Wednesday food section.
These cookbooks can have between 30-50 of your family recipes in them and can be up to 150 pages.
For the cook in your life who has everything, I think this would make the perfect gift.
