I had an absolute blast last week as a guest judge on Valley Dish. Host Tram Mai asked me to be a judge of the “Ground Beef Showdown” and I’m guessing it might be due to my love of meat?
Susan Rienzo and Jorge Ruiz both busted out delicious and creative dishes in 20 minutes. In the end, I chose Jorge’s dish because it was a very unique spin on chilaquiles, but Susan’s dish was equally tasty.
Susan was crowned the winner–congrats Susan and Jorge on a great competition.
Did I mention who my co-judges were? None other than World Series Champ Luis Gonzales and 12 News Sportscaster Extraordinaire Bruce Cooper. Needless to say, I was the “food person” of the 3 of us.
