It’s no secret that I love trying unique and interesting products. Sometimes I have so many to sample that my house looks like a food warehouse.
Recently I was sent a couple of bottles of a new bloody mary mix called Irish Dog. This company is located in Illinois and was started by a couple who had a quest to find the perfect bottled bloody mary mix. Dare I say, they have accomplished this task with Irish Dog?
It’s a perfect blend of tomato and spice. It didn’t burn my esophagus and it was overall very satsifying.
Of course the week after I received the bloody mary samples, a friend asked me to sample a new vodka by Indio spirits. Wasabi Vodka.
I decided it was kismet and the wasabi vodka bloody mary was born.
I tested them out together this past weekend at the Arizona BBQ festival and my entire team raved. We added a lot of lime and olive juice. The mix is spicy and the vodka has a slow and deliberate burn so for me, the two combined for just the right amount of spicyness.
I will look forward to more of these creations in the future! Thank you for the samples Indio and Irish Dog!
