Not much I like more than a creative press release. Last week my friends at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess sent me one with “Bounce into Bunnyland my Peep” as the subject email header.
I’m here to reveal that my husband and I use “bunny” as terms of endearment for each other. Easter is a pretty fun time around these parts because we seek out the cutest bunny cards, stuffed bunnies etc. You get the drift.
The Easter festivities are numerous and bunny-filled this year at the Fairmont. My favorite element is a four-restaurnat brunch collaboration by The Grill at TPC, La Hacienda by Richard Sandoval, Michael Mina’s BOURBON STEAK or LV Bistro.
This food extravaganza takes place at the La Hacienda Plaza outside near La Hacienda and the Willow Stream Spa. I see it all the time when I go to play tennis!
Easter Brunch will be served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, April 24, and includes one complimentary photo with the Easter Bunny per family. The price is $55 for adults, $29 for children ages 6 – 12 and children 5 and younger dine for free with the purchase of an adult brunch. Bottomless Bloody Marys and mimosas are $12 per person. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 480-585-4848.
For the baby bunnies in your family the Princess is transforming the Lagoon Lawn into “Bunnyland,” an Easter playground with a bouncy house, face painters to make the day more colorful, a balloon artist and a petting zoo.
Meanwhile, the resort will also have four Easter egg hunts taking place on Princess Lawn (neighboring La Hacienda Plaza) at 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Bunnyland and the Easter Egg hunts are both complimentary for hotel and brunch guests. Photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny will be available.
